Hope, Healing, and Freedom
Through Jesus Christ
Are thoughts and feelings keeping you from the abundant life?
thoughts From the Past:
- Lingering regret?
- Guilt? Shame?
- Trauma? PTSD? Terror?
- Feelings of inferiority, unworthiness?
- Pain from loss or rejection?
- Depression? Sadness?
- A basic sense that there is something wrong or substandard about yourself?
Thoughts Toward the Future:
- A fear of exposure and blame?
- Worry and anxiety?
- An excessive need for approval?
- Helplessness? Hopelessness?
- Fears that you will never be known or loved for who you really are?
- Thoughts of never reaching your potential or your destiny?
There Is Hope, Healing, And Freedom Through Jesus Christ
Isaiah 43:18-20 (ESV)
“Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
Aligning with God’s truth, goodness, and promises is key.
"The Bad Fruits in our Lives Grow From Bad Roots in our Past."
BAD FRUITS
The BAD FRUITS in our lives are the outward expressions of the inward pain. They may express themselves as excessive anger or fear, depression, anxiety, etc, and they tend to interfere with our relationships, hurt our families, cause us to feel oppressed, and keep us from the productive lives that we could otherwise have. The BAD FRUITS in our lives are usually the result of BAD ROOTS which we all have in various degrees. Healing these roots can result in much peace and freedom. Therefore, prayer ministry seeks God’s truth about the underlying causes of the behavior, instead of trying to control the person by behavior modification.
BAD ROOTS
The BAD ROOTS in our lives are the propensities that affect our decisions as well as core beliefs stemming from painful events that we experienced. These beliefs about God, ourselves, others, and the world can be like self-fulfilling prophesies whether or not we understand them or are aware of them. They are usually apparent as BAD FRUITS, e.g attitudes and behaviors, that hurt both ourselves and others. Even Godly people need Jesus to heal their souls in order to grow in Godliness and freedom. The Apostle Paul spoke about this in Romans 7 when he said, ” I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”
Paul ends Romans 7 with this: "Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!"
Hope, Healing, and Freedom come through Jesus Christ
Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
We have served as healing prayer ministers since 1999, and have learned several ministry models over the years. However, we are seeing more amazing breakthroughs and transformation through this integrated approach from Restoring the Foundations than ever before, even in the lives of many who have suffered for years. The good news is that we don’t have to live a troubled and unhappy life! Jesus has paid the price for healing our broken hearts! We offer on-line ministry internationally and in-person ministry in Athens, GA, USA.
